Hello Sailing Enthusiasts of Kitsap County,
We are pleased to announce the resumption of adult sailing programs.
Sailing Course for Adults
Lessons are held at the Port of Silverdale main dock. Boats used may be RS Quest, Lightening, Geary 18 or other as depending on student skill. Lessons will be limited to 3-4 adults per instructor, at the moment we anticipate two instructors per lesson. The course consists of four sessions over two weeks. Sessions are held on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 8:00. Please review the cancellation policy on our registration website. Sailors must be over the age of 18.
Classes are taught by US Sailing Instructors, at least level 1, and use on water and on shore lessons to teach essential sailing and safety skills. Courses are suitable for beginner sailors and requires moderate agility. All sailors must have comfort with being on the water or in the water with a life vest. The focus is on safety, fun and sailing skills and knowledge. Skills acquired may allow sailors to be certified to take boats out during our community sailing nights.
Boats available: RS Quest, V15s, FJs, Lasers, 420, Geary 18, Lightening, Sportboat
Lessons available in June, July, and August - concurrent with our summer camps for kids
