Welcome to our High School Sailing Team

For Students in Central Kitsap
Our program is available to secondary school
students in the CK district. The season for high school sailing is March
through May. In our 2nd year, we have 22 students who attend either CK
Junior or CK High. We welcome students from across the district to join us
next year.
Our local sailing program is operated through Kitsap County Parks and Recreation. The Northwest Interscholastic Sailing Association (NWISA) is the organization that governs high school sailing in the region. Their website lists the teams we compete against and provides a schedule for regional activities.
Practices
Sailing Team practices run from 3PM to 6PM at
Waterfront Park in Silverdale.
Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
We always have practice, though we might not actually sail if it's too windy.
Practices are important for gaining the skills necessary to sail in Regattas.
You must have appropriate gear for sailing in
winter conditions.
